Gaston D. Sanders

I'm currently working on a new book about  a cowboy from El Paso who has to leave town due to a run-in with the local sheriff over a shooting in the streets in 1886. The young cowboy, Jess, decides to head east to the community of Moohshine Hill, which is located just north of Houston on the Bayou.

His exploits, while trying to fit into the rough country town, are varied and at times dangerous...not without a sprinkling of humor. Of course, he meets the ideal woman while searching for honest work within the community and she captures his heart.

I'll have to see where he goes from here, as I develop the story.
