Research on Book Two

 

Well, I'm beginning research for Book 2 of my Volonov Vampire Clan Saga and it's turning into some interesting reading and photo searching. I am going to set the location in lower Alberta, Canada in the wilderness of the mountains. Right now I'm considering Mt. Balinbard and Mt. La Grace near the Maligne Lake. It's location places it away from human habitation in the mountains and forests that make up the region. I want the Volonov Clan to have privacy and a feeling of safety and security so that they can begin again and try to build their family back to the size it once was and reclaim their independence and pride.

Unknown to Princess Selene and her Black Guard soldiers is the fact that a tribe of shape-shifters (Werewolves) also inhabit the very region that the Volonovs are trying to settle. There is bound to be border disputes and fighting over claimed boundaries and territory. It looks like war of an entirely different kind for the Volonov vampires.
